Booking Policy

Thank you for choosing V-ATE for your dining experience. We're excited to welcome you, and we want to ensure you have all the information needed for a smooth and enjoyable visit. Please take a moment to review our booking terms and conditions.

Card authorization

When making a table booking online your card details will be collected to authorize a payment of £10. No payment is taken at the time of booking. This amount will only be charged to your account if you fail to show up for your reservation 

Pre-Orders

Parties of 10 or More & Party packages

To enhance your dining experience, we kindly request that parties of 10 or more, and party package bookings, pre-order their food 24 hours before their reservation. This helps us manage stock levels and ensures your group receives their meals together. Group bookings pre-ordered food will be delivered 30 minutes after your booked table time, allowing you to settle in, enjoy a drink, and get comfortable before your meal. Party packages will receive their meals 15 minutes after being seated at your table. If you have specific time preferences, please communicate them during the pre-order process. We believe this policy contributes to an improved dining experience for all. If you have questions or need assistance with your pre-order, please contact us at 01205 726049 or katie@v-ate.com. A pre-order link will be sent to your email upon confirmation.

Bowling Payments

To secure your bowling lane reservation, we require full payment at the time of booking. Food and drink payments are made on the day of your booking. You'll receive an email with a payment link for the bowling lanes, priced at £2.50 per person, per game. This payment will be refunded as long as you cancel more than 12 hours before your booking. V-ATE reserves the right to cancel bookings if full bowling price is not paid within 48 hours of making the booking.

Party Package deposits

For party packages and set menus bookings, deposits are mandatory. This helps us allocate additional space and prepare food for pre-orders. The deposit is 25% of the total party cost. This deposit is deducted from your total bill on the day. This deposit is refundable if you cancel within 24 hours of your booking, and a payment link will be sent to your email. Your booking is considered confirmed once payment is received, unless an alternative arrangement has been agreed upon with our team. V-ATE reserves the right to cancel bookings if deposits are not paid within 56 hours of making the booking. 

Running late?

We'll hold your table for 15 minutes from your booked time. After that, if we haven't heard from you and there are eager foodies waiting, we may release the table. Need to adjust your time? No problem! Just let us know in advance.
 

No shows

We understand things come up, and unforeseen circumstances can impact plans. If you can't make it, please reach out to us before your booking time. No shows without prior contact may result in the £10 payment authorization being taken and could affect future bookings. We're here to help, just keep us in the loop!
